The All Seeing Eye: Blue Note Records Through the Lens of Francis Wolff
A new exhibit, curated by the Museum Collective with Blue Note Records, explores the legacy of Francis Wolff’s iconic photography. We were commissioned to design the exhibit, which highlights Wolff’s intimate, candid images captured during recording sessions and jazz club performances.
Wolff, who fled Nazi Germany in 1939, co-founded Blue Note Records with his childhood friend Alfred Lion. Over three decades, his distinctive photography not only documented jazz history but also defined the visual identity of Blue Note, now celebrated as works of art.
